As of June 2023 we are no longer accepting new clients for midwifery care.  

If you are looking for midwifery care we encourage you to go to MidwivesinVictoria.ca and submit your request to the Waitlist. 

   If you have been unable to find a maternity care provider (either a registered midwife or a    family physician who provides maternity care) you can call the Antenatal Clinic at Victoria      General Hospital at 250-727-4187

Midwives provide safe services for women with low-risk pregnancies.

Midwifery services are publicly funded health services since January 1998.

B.C. midwives now deliver nearly 14% of the province's babies each year - more than 5,500 newborns. In Victoria, almost 30% of the births are attended by midwives.
